Greetings All:
Sold and item that required buyer to pay shipping. Buyer did not pay yet, so opened a UPI. However noticed the shipping is listed as free . How does this get fixed? All solutions are welcomed, just looking for the least problematic. Thanks.

Was it for the "For shananice only-CANNON Cream (2pc) Queen Flat & Fitted Sheet Set Cotton Blend" that sold for $6.50? If so, Shipping is listed as: FREE Expedited Shipping.
The least problematic solution is to ship it for FREE as advertised.

Once the item sells.. then the shipping fees are the shipping fees.
Fingers crossed the buyer doesnt pay so you can close the UPI and correct the item before relisting.

@holmaneva-2 Nothing was changed according to your sold listing... I am guessing it is for this item: Women's Black Kristen KARL LAGERFELD
The purse does have shipping on it but it will show as "free" on some sold item screens until the buyer provides a shipping address at checkout. This is because the system has no way of knowing what the buyers actual shipping cost will be
I see you have relisted the purse already. That's not a good idea unless you have 2 of them until the UPI case is closed as the buyer has 4 more days to pay.

Listing was for a novelty bag. After trying to figure how the listing went from buyer pays to free, I saw the newbie buyer listed an out of country zip code, so canceled the listing on those grounds before they figured out how to use a reshipper which would require a change of zip to here. Still don't know what happened to the shipping, so refilled parameters upon relisting and hope it does not happen again.

Buyer listed an out of country zip, so cancelled and relisted -- hopefully with a fixed shipping problem.

@holmaneva-2 To prevent this issue in the future set up your buyer requirements.
Go to My eBay > Account > Site Preferences
Set up your buyer requirements:
Have received 2 Unpaid Item strike(s) within 12 Month(s)
Have a primary shipping address in a location I don't ship to
Have a feedback score of -1 or lower
Are currently winning or have bought 5 of my items in the last 10 days and have a feedback score of 5 or lower

Do I have to wait to relist if the order was cancelled?

The original listing is not showing free shipping when I look at it; it's showing the same postage as the new listing. So apparently the above post was right when suggesting that this was a display glitch.
Small technical point: The term "ZIP Code" is used exclusively by USPS. All other countries use the term "postal code." If your buyer was outside the US, then he doesn't have a ZIP Code.

Lose lose all around because of the glitch. Should be a notice issued for it or how to avoid causing it. Luckily the hideous item is hot, so should resell. But might end the listing early because I forgot I will not be recouping any PP fees, so will tack them on the a later listing. Thanks all!

There are no fees for this transaction, so listing will stay up for sale.
