Listing Rules not enforced for every seller

I sell comics and collectibles. When aI first started I admit I didn't know all the rules and was listing comics 45 days out. I got slapped on my hand and told I can get banned if I do it again. Okay..fair is fair. A couple years go buy and now a ton of comic sellers are killing the rules. Not only are they listing more than 30 days out. In some cases they are listing 90 days out. Ebay sees this behind the scenes , but won't do anything about. They get all the sales. My sales have dropped over 70% , because I can't list more than 30 days out and people already made their purchases by the time I list. Funko pops are even worst than comics. There are listing up now that won't come out until Nov. I've been a seller since 2001. Either enforce the rules or change them.

I 100% agree.  Some do manage to fly under the radar - until they are caught like you were.

And it could result in the loss of your account.

That is why I advise do not look to them for guidance.

The only real recourse is to report them over and over until eBay gets the message.

But yes, this is another big issue eBay isn't trying to fix.  Do as I say, not as I do.

Your competition is reporting you while they do the same thing.  Report them also.  Best regards

You can report them until you're blue in the face, but some will never be removed.  eBay does have favorites; if you're not among them, don't break the rules.

Let them.

Pre-Selleing is a recipe for death especially if you are using Diamond as a distributor.

So far I'm good. I'm carful with them. 100% feedback so far. Sales have dropped bigtime do to not everyone following the rules and no enforcement.

Rules not followed?

I know.
We know.
Join the "club".

1. borders on photos
2. text on first photo
3. no nudity/sexual content
4. no contact info in a. title, b. description, c. feedback
5. not listed in incorrect category
6. misrepresent item location/where shipped from
7. demand additional shipping cost after item paid for
8. unauthorized "charity" statement in listing
9. blatantly "selling" feedback
10. digital photos, digital recipes, etc.

There's more but I have to go now.
It's hard work listing my 1964 Mustang for $1.00, under men's ties, with description stating you'll only receive my sincere feedback plus a digital photo of said Mustang (photo not belonging to me, I ripped it off the internet).

...and how long have you had a Diamond account?

Must not be for long because there is no being careful, that's not even a thing to be.

Heh.

Good luck. I have another 20 on top of that.

You are begging for trouble counting on Diamond for anything at all at any time.

If you don't want to get kicked off of ebay forever for out of stock dings, you'd do well to quit pre-sales of anything coming from them.
