I've had two listings removed by ebay (Purple Heart Ribbon and Distinguished Service Cross Ribbon). Yet when I search for Purple Heart Ribbon there are 904 results and 43 results for Distinguished Service Cross Ribbon. Why were mine removed and not the others? Who makes these decisions? Is there any recourse? Thoughts/suggestions please!

Because your listings were caught and the others weren't (yet). There is no recourse. Others are usually caught eventually, sometimes the violations hit post-sale, believe it or not.
The following or similar items are not allowed:

If your listing is removed by eBay, you may see similar listings still active on the site. This could be for several reasons:
If you think another listing violates our policies, please let us know and we'll investigate.

You have been judged guilty in the court of Ebay.....even though you are right and they are wrong......they will not restore the listing.
I am dealing with identical issues where I can point to the exact verbage in their TOS....they still dont care.

It's like shooting fish in a barrel. You don't get them all at once. It takes time. I only see 883 Purple Heart Ribbons with one sold in the past 24 hours so 20 others have also been pulled.

Ebay makes this decision and rightfully so, please don't relist these especially the purple heart ribbon.
This is not a fashion statement or brooch, a military member was either wounded or killed like my Nephew. Donate this to your local Veterans office please.

How is the OP right? It's a violation to sell Purple Hearts and other military medals here. Policy isn't even vague like some of them are.
