Listing Category question

I sell melamine dinnerware items.  I have been listing them in the general Home & Garden>Kitchen>dinnerware>plates or bowls categories.

When listing I am given the option of also using this category:

Collectibles>Kitchen & Home>Tableware>melamine, melmac>other collectible melamine.

Both categories have lots of brand new items listed.

Is the Collectible category supposed to be for vintage / antique melamine dinner ware items only OR can it be construed that people collect melamine items like they do baseball cards, mugs, etc. so it is okay to list under that category?

I checked and the Collectibles category actually has way less item specifics that have to be filled in and the same New or Used options as the regular listing form.

That's where I would list it.  Check what else is in that category to make sure you are in the right place.  Sometimes listings are more helpful for finding the correct category.

Listing Category question

The collectible category seems to be an odd catchall.  That's where perfume bottles go.  But if it says kitchen and home plus melamine, that seems to be the obvious choice.
