Your selling limits are cumulative listed+sold in a monthly period (December 1 through December 31, e.g.)
When you sell something, it does not give you a "free spot"
On the 1st of the month the counter resets the amount that you can have listed +sold.
Selling limits are 2-part #items/$amt ... whichever comes first
If your selling limit is 100/$1000:
@On December 1 You list 100 items @ $10 each.
Active Listings=100/$1000
sold=0/$0
Total=100/$1000
When something sells it becomes
Active Listings=99/$990
Sold=1/$10
Total = 100/$1000
You will be able to list more on January 1st.
