Lesson Learned...Hopefully Others Will Benefit From This

Purchased an item on 5 July from a Seller with 80K feedbacks so figured it would not be a problem.

After 3 days, still no message of shipped? Sent a query...no response.  Sent another query next day...

Reply, "your item will be shipped within 24-48 hours after purchase and tracking will be added"

Well it had already passed that timeline so I queried again as to why no tracking or item shipped not showing...

Reply "Your item is estimated to arrive 11-12 July"...What???!?!!!

Called ebay and they confirmed I will be receiving my money back on purchase on 11 July as this seller is a "known" Bad Seller based on negative feedbacks for the very same occurences.

Ok.  Great. I get my Money Back.

My Question is why is eBay allowing this scammer to still sell...take money and never ship???

Lesson Learned...CHECK THE FEEDBACKS ON A SELLER FOR ANY PURCHASE...REGARDLESS!!!

You purchased it Wednesday and asked ebay for your money back by Sunday? Maybe they shipped it but never uploaded tracking and you will recive your item tomorrow. Did you pay for expedited service or something?

Yep Expedited Shipping so thats not gonna happen and CS confirmed over 50 negative feedbacks alone for very same problem reported

No shipping or tracking uploaded in 5 days...neg feedbacks state 9 days of the same.

And you know this how?  I've bought things where the seller didn't upload the tracking until a few days after it had already been shipped.  They had in fact been shipped, and they arrived within the estimated delivery window.

What was your seller's handling time? Not everybody has one-day handling. So buying on the 5th and receiving on the 11th seems reasonable to me, although i see you are not happy with the timeline. 

It is impossible to know what ebay thinks and why they do what they do most of the time. I do know that poor selling practices will catch up with the offender eventually. Ebay does suspend sellers for non-performance. It's just rare for them to discuss or explain their actions to members.
