Lending Tree ads are covering about 33% of my eBay selling page. How do I stop this?

Hi, Just. I have had AdBlock for years. I don't get all of that gibberish? And I didn't fool around with my Chrome settings when I set it up (since I am computer stupid) to block any 3rd party whatevers. Would be afraid to do that and screw up my system.

Install an ad blocker on your web browser.

Go into your browser preferences. Block 3rd party cookies. Clear your history and cookies. Close it and restart.

Whah ha ha. Reverse morgage ads are covering mine. Guess they figure that we are all down and out here. And we are.

As others said... ad blocker.
Ebay made it clear in their 3rd quarter earnings call that advertising would be one of their main sources of growth going forward. They talked about promoted listings, but I would assume that this type of advertising will be more prominent also.

Hi @traderbob444 - thanks for letting me know about what you're running into, I'll get it reported. 🙂

Thanks for your response. I have called eBay three times about the ads on my eBay pages. They stated that eBay is not doing this.
I followed advice I received this board. At first I tried to install AdBlocker through Internet Explorer. Did not work. Tried it on Google Chrome. It installed quickly and went right to work. No more ads on my eBay pages, of any other either.

I had the same problem this morning. Clearing history/cookies and restarting PC did not work.
Solution: I installed Adblock on my Chrome and have no more issues with ads covering eBay seller page content.

It just started happening to me, too, but just at the top of the page. It shows eBay's desperation.

So, are these ebay ads at the top of your page???
760861 760863 760864 760868 ads blocked by AdBlock

I've had it happen to me too. Its only happened 3 times. It doesn't happen every time I open my ebay page. Usually I can see a thing that says, block this ad or stop seeing this ad.
