Last week's snowstorm closed post office and roads here in NC. eBAY PLZ RECOGNIZE IMPACTED SELLERS.

It dumped a foot of snow here in Chapel Hill NC (and across much of NC) between December 9th and December 11th. Roads were closed. USPS, UPS, Fedex -- none were operational here until Wednesday. USPS only did letter delivery on Wednesday and package delivery resumed on Thursday. Friday brought heavy rain and flash flooding when the rain melted the snow. NCDOT and local authorities warned residents to stay off the roads as much as possible.

Yet eBay seems to be offering no respite for impacted sellers in my area. My late shipment rate has now doubled and I am likely to receive a warning from eBay as result. I have several customers who have dismissed or ignored the serious weather we had here, which literally made USPS shipments impossible for nearly the entire week. This has been an awful experience and eBay seems completely oblivious.

eBay, please address this.

Call eBay so they can put a note on your account. They do offer seller protections even if there is no official announcement made on the announcements board, but you have to call them to let them know when and how you're impacted. It's better to call at the outset if you can.

You need to call CS and alert them to this situation so they can take care of your account.  Ebay has been very good about situations such as these and will help you in view of the circumstances.
