Lack of feedback support from Ebay.

Today, I am pulling all of my products from ebay.

After I learned there is no protection to their sellers for justified negative feedback removal. 

I was given negitive feedback on cut sleeve for being repaired. The sleeves seams are on the outside so it doesn't irritate the wearer.

So I got a negitive review due to a buyer that does not having common sense. Ebays refused to fix it.

This is based off an assumption of a buyer. 

Good feedback is key to selling, and you took it away.

They need to get their act togather or there gonna lose alot of sellers like me who already contributed thousands of dollars in seller fees.

I don't like the fact that eBay allows buyers to steal from us. Small buisness.

Ebay needs to decide what's more important as right now your allowing buyers to do what ever they want to with out supporting the sellers that PAY YOU directly for using your platform with crappy seller support. I will take my buisness else where. I hope my small request was worth the thousands of dollars your gonna lose.

I was proud that I was a top ebey seller I followed the rules and gave my buyers excellent service as ebay exspected. This situation just killed me. I don't respect Ebay as I did before. It's like being sentence to prison for something you didn't do.

Personally, I wouldn't sell PPE that was repaired. 

Typically, if I see someone's feedback around 80% I wouldn't even bother looking further, this is my main concern. I got the negative feedback for a product that got misunderstood by the buyer.

I even sent him a free pair at my cost and lost money. "Lesson learned." as he agreed to change it.

Granted I know I have a good rating but it's scary knowing that there is nothing I seller can do about our buyers who don't understand. How many of these buyers am i going to come across before my feedback takes multiple hits.

 

After reading the comments below and the support the community has given me, I do feel better. 


I am very glad you feel better.  I completely understand.  I too recently got a negative that could have been avoided with communication.  I've been at this a long time without a neg, so YES it stings, but nothing I can do about it because the buyer simply will not communicate with me.

Did you send him a feedback revision at this time?  A buyer can't revise without that, but it is time sensitive.

 

As others have mentioned, though, don't get too upset over feedback.  I've had plenty of hits over the years and just keep doing what I do.  If I messed up, I learn to do better.  If I feel I did nothing wrong, I get over it.   They haven't stopped me from selling.

I'm so glad to hear this.  Most of us are here and volunteering our time to try and help other members.  Some come for entertainment, but most of us sincerely want to help.

Don't you get it,ebay is run by AI ROBOT,ALMOST THERE WHOLE PLATFORM IS BEING RUN THIS WAY, A ROBOT HAS NO MORALITY, NO FAIRNESS, IT HAS NO MORAL,CENTER,THE PERFECT MACHINE.
