Hello,
Recently the views on all my eBay listings were set back to zero. I had many listing where the views were in the hundreds. Want to see if this is just something that happened to my account or to everyone on eBay.
Thank you

Ebay recently changed how views are counted by removing views generated by bots. Personally, I don't pay much attention to views. I have items that had hundreds of views that never sold and other items with nary a view that did sell. Out of curiosity I did look at one of your items and so that action generated a meaningless view.

It resets once a month now. Buyers like to know if an item is a newer listing or is it something that has been sitting on Ebay for years. Before GTC buyers could set the search to newly listed. Now everything is jumbled. If you have hundreds of views and very little buyers that is a sign something needs changed.

Just a small correction.....
"...It resets once a month now..."
It is a "rolling" 30-day total, so, to understand, it is the previous 30 days to the date you are looking at the number.
The one misleading thing about that number (to me) is say you have 54 views.....50 of them were on the new listing day 30 days ago....day 31 all of the sudden you have 4 views.....(because those 50 views from 31 days ago fell off the views range of 30 days)
it is beneficial, but can be confusing

Losing out on past views doesn't really matter.

Unless it's a commodity where you sell multiples, "hundreds of views" on an item is not really a good thing - it means a lot of people have looked, but no one has purchased. Views really get you nothing.
You can check overall number of views for 90 days by clicking into the views number on your seller hub.

"Before GTC buyers could set the search to newly listed. Now everything is jumbled."
I think you are mistaken about this. I almost always search by "Newly Listed." It literally shows items by the seconds within the minutes of when the items were currently listed, with -- well -- the newest listing first. I have done this as recently as about two hours ago.
While logged in with this ID, I checked on four currently active items that are listed by my selling ID, by typing in the manufacturer's name and product line, and in order by "Newly Listed." This particular manufacturer (crafting kits) turns out hundreds if not thousands of products every month, but they discontinue items from time to time. There are lots of these kits available on eBay. There were probably three dozen similar kits listed after mine were.
I also search "Newly Listed" often to look at listings from some of my Saved Sellers. You know, to see what new goodies they are selling.
