This is how eBay feeds counterfeiting, when you list a knife and go into the item specifics catagory under authenticity, you have 2 choices original or reproduction. A reproduced knife is a counterfeit knife. In our user agreement we cannot use the word Reproduction in the title yet ebay uses it for authenticity?
It really hard to compete against counterfeit sellers on here. I pay $400-$500 a month selling 100% legal items. My eBay experience lately both as a buyer and seller has been horrendous !!

There are original and reproduction models of guns, not all reproductions are counterfeit.
They are simply reproductions of original designs that are now in the public domain.

A gun manufacturer has to put his name on his gun so it is a copy of an old gun but it is his gun with his makers mark on it. Now if someone reproduces his gun with his makers mark on it , what is that?
When a knife maker makes a knife and puts someone else's name on it that is not a reproduction, not a clone, not a copy that is a counterfeit knife.

So what is your beef ?
Is someone reproducing your original designs and selling the fakes on eBay ?

I'm a knife dealer. They are makeing fake Chris Reeve, Spyderco, Medford etc.....
those are some of the knives I sell. Look up clone knife and you will see. Per eBay's user agreement a seller is not suppose to use the word clone or reproduction in the title of a listing. Everyone of the clone reproduced knives are counterfeit that are active. I told eBay yesterday about it for 3 hours. Look up clone knife and then look how many have been sold.

If you want to police these issues you need to contact the manufacturers and report the listings to them.
