Sales were just a little better in July, August ,,,I think its about time to sell out and git-out,..,Ebay used to be reliable ,but its now way out of their control,Or is it?? Throttled to Death ,Pay to Be Seen ,,Ebays stock price is around $36.07  -  Amazon's is $1869.80 ,,Is Ebay really trying to be like them? Heck of a try!!

Same here. I had to diversify to other selling platforms. Many sellers have to, which is bad for eBay as all social media advertising goes to the site the item is listed on and those sites get the free traffic.

I'm a small fry, I know I don't matter to eBay in the slightest, but these sites are filling up with new sellers at a unbelievable rate, so maybe eBay SHOULD care.

Mine are incredibly similar! My click-through and sales conversion rates are just a hair better (a few tenths). But eBay alleges "the market" is up 10% (HO Scale Trains - Other).

I basically have no expectations from Ebay anymore. The low sales have forced me to sell on 4 sites now. So a few sales from each makes for a better outcome than just sticking on 1. Not sure when Ebay will wake up and see they are losing sellers left and right and need to start offering better changes to lure back sellers. They cannot keep this up and be successful.

I'm on 5 sites now. I don't believe it is going to change, eBay has gone in the direction of big box, new products and China. I really don't think we are missed. They do not believe they need us, maybe they don't. For every one of us that moves off to another platform, probably 10 new sellers come on to sell. Maybe more.

I finally let this sink in and am now focusing on the sites that are bringing me buyers and money 🙂 I no chase the carrot here, if I get sales, cool beans. If I don't, it will sell elsewhere and does for the most part.

I do believe that Ebay needs the smaller sellers as well. Most of the Chinese stuff is junk and there is way too much competition from the big box stores for Ebay to do well there. Ebay is best known for one of a kind antiques and collectibles and they need to remember this.

I agree with you, I just don't think eBay does. They don't seem to care much that a huge chunk of their small sellers are moving to these sites that have buyers happy to buy.

They put China in business here, that's their baby and they don't seem to be on any path to change it. The old CEO publicly announced China was their direction and they did it.
