I've listed 10 items.  Most items have 0 views after 3 days.  Does ebays new system only show your item if you promote it? IS that the new game now? Death by a thousand cuts.

Out of curiosity, I looked up 3 of your listed items-- the two 5E patch cords and the Ativa printer cable. While there are numerous examples of each of those listed, when I checked the Solds, not a single one had sold in the past 90 days. That tells me that there's really very little demand for those particular items, so zero views on them shouldn't be surprising.

No, you just got to be lucky and have the search engine to pick it up.

Have a great day.

I get sales all the time.

But I have 1200 items listed, not 10.

But that only happens when someone is actually searching for it.

My granddaughter sold some handcrafted earrings in my store that she made and listed 5 years ago and a lot of 3 pairs sold today on an offer, lol.  Sorry, I have not checked the views, though probably not many, lol.

Luck of the draw?

They sold for $9 and change. Cracked me up.

I texted her, she got a kick out of it as well.

You have only 10 items.

You need to have 1010 items.

You need to have items that are NOT sitting in peoples junk drawers across the nation for things that are no longer needed since the last Millenium as there is obviously ZERO interest in them.

Kinda like having Buggy Whips listed.

I have a bunch of listings for cat5e patch cords. Lots of 5, 10, 20, 50. They hard ever sell.  Try cat6 if you want to have a chance at sales.

Best of luck.

If one were to ask me for the first word that comes to mind when I see the screenshot, and within context of Ebay, the word would be desperation.

If you get impressions but no views, either no one finds enough reason to click through to your listing or your placement in the results is abominable and you need to consider promotion.

If you have impressions in the Top 20 Search impressions it is your listing which is the reason you get no views.

Learn how to read the performance information Ebay provides.

Actually, you do not need to promote your items at all to sell them. Promoting your items will NOT give you more sales, having good, in demand items that people want will give you sales.

So no, not death by a thousand cuts but good try.

Hi @rjblg10 and welcome. This seems to be your first effort at selling on eBay.

Three days is a very short duration to worry much about # of views. Give it some time. It can take a few months to get established. Listing more items might help.

Looked at your listings, and noticed some of the listings for mechanical parts have media mail selected as the shipping method. Those kinds pf goods are not eligible to go by media mail. That is for books, sound and video recordings, manuscripts, music etc. See the link below for more info.

Wish you much success.

@rjblg10  You need more items and more in-demand items. IAC, it can take at least a week if not a month more for listings to propagate through external search, and a great many things are found on external search rather than people coming specifically to eBay (with items listed on so many platforms now, that makes sense).

I have no views on most of my books until someone searches for a copy on Google and up comes my listing and they buy it.

eBay has almost two billion listings.

Hell is empty. And all the devils are here.
