Items disappearing / missing from active listing??? No VERO or email...

We've had two items mysteriously get completely deleted from our listings in the past 24 hours. Didn't receive any email about their deletion or anything. We now have to pull items from our inventory and retake pictures and everything. What is going on here?

The items deleted were titled "Vintage Thomas Dam Boy Pirate With Passport Troll Doll 1960's 1964 Rare" and "Vintage 60s game Whitman Tiddly Winks 1969 Lucky Shot USA MCM shooting Antique".

How long had they been listed?

My patterns are slow moving (fine with me) and I sometimes get a "16 month" warning if they have not sold after that long.

I usually close them, leave them in my Unsold List for a few weeks and then relist, sometimes with tweaks.

But I have seen (or rather have not seen) items I know I have not sold, because I am holding it in my hand, that just "poof"!

For that reason, I have a folder of all my pictures on my desktop along with another folder with all my descriptions.  Another ID got caught out with that a few year ago. Took over a month to get everything relisted since I didn't want a clump of listings, just a few opening every day for the most exposure.

EBay is not your friend. EBay is your landlord.

Any idea what categories they were in? Seems odd both items we've had disappear were vintage toys.

Welp and now a third one has disappeared. I'm stressed about thinking of what I'll see when waking up in the morning. Don't have an easy way to save all the pics for my 600+ listings at this moment.

One of the items hasn't even been listed for a year. The other two were listed in 2018.

There not renewing...so after 30 days..they just dissapear instead of being renewed...there less than 3 months...

My items that are renewing today are not showing up in "active" after they are supposed to end then renew. If I go to "All Selling" I can see them there. It must be a glitch that eBay needs to fix. 

Check your "all selling" area and see if the missing items are there.

Where is the "All Selling" section located? On the app or from a pc? We've checked unsold, ended, active, etc and can't find them anywhere.

Thanks mate! After doing some searching I figured out in my "unsold" section even though they aren't listed there somehow if I search for them they miraculously appear! Saved me some time! Relisting them now!

This is not good.

Here's a thought.

If they are not automatically renewing, close your listings that are about to close (yes, that also misses the "about to close " searchers, sigh.)

They will go to your Unsold List and linger for 60-90 days.

Then try relisting them, either as Relist or as Sell Similar, a few days later.

Fingers and toes crossed that kills the glitch. No promises.

I keep all my pictures in a desktop file, and all my descriptions in another, going back many years. (This is not my only ID.)

I don't trust any third party to back me up.

I'm on a MacBook. I click "My eBay" up at top right.

Then on the left side under the bold letters "Sell" it has:

All Selling

Scheduled

Active

Sold 

Unsold

Shipping Labels

Returns

Deleted

How I just typed it above is how it looks on the left of my screen. I click "All Selling" and it shows that the recently renewed items are active here but when I do a search for them or I click "Active" it shows a lower number of active listings than in "All Selling" and the most recent ones that were supposed to renew today are not showing there.

My thought are that it is some kind of glitch that eBay needs to be aware of so they can fix it.

The good news is that all of you that were worried about your pics and descriptions being gone, hopefully you can find them in the "All Selling" area.

one of my missing items just showed up so it must just be a delay glitch or eBay fixed it recently. I didn't want to cancel any of my listings because they have watchers so I just want them to renew.
