Items are showing "used" on Google search

Good evening,

Could someone please tell me why, when I search on Google for my medical bracelets, they are saying "Used". Each medical replacement bracelet is made by hand, by me as the orders are received. I have always double checked that I have marked the box "new without tags". It is only when I do a google search that they are showing "used". My main page does not reflect this as far as I can see. When I type in medical replacement bracelets eBay,  they all say "used". I would like to resolve this, because it is false advertising and they are brand new bracelets. Here is just one item number if you would need it. 363144130288. Thank you so much for your time and your help for a possible resolution. Tiff

Re: Items are showing "used" on Google search

It's a problem with how Google's software extracts the info from the eBay listing.  You also see a lot of items on search sites showing free shipping when the eBay listing is not.  eBay makes changes to the HTML code and does not inform others.

Thank you. That is interesting. So, really, there isn't anything I can do about it. Just hope that people who are wanting a medical replacement bracelet will not be put off because it tells them it is a used item when in fact it is not. Again, Thank you for your input and Happy New Year! Tiff

...uh...you listings on eBay showed "New (other)" so definitely NOT "Used"...

...and don't bother with Google...

Re: Items are showing "used" on Google search

My understanding is that Google search is overloaded and flaky.....

Unfortunately it is bloated with import items and I agree with @simba6 that it is a technical issue.

Your stuff is really nice,  I would not rely on Google to stand out in the crowd.

I did notice there are several watchers on 363144130288 and you have made sales.

I wish you the best of luck!

Thank you. I really appreciate your response. Hardly ever do I look for my bracelets on Google, but for some reason I was curious, and there they were! My first thought was, I'm going to scare my customers away since my listings are for "used" medical bracelets!!! I can laugh at this...thanks

That was such a nice compliment. Thank you. I also do agree with the technical idea. Never mind Google. I am going to keep going like I always have. I love your Kitty on your profile. Just darling!

😀

That is Ceiling cat. I copied him from a old internet meme.

(I think he is dual wall outlet cat... looking out not down.. but still a silly kitty..)

Handmade items are great, but it can be hard to stand out in a mass produced world.

I do not do much social media, but hopefully your handmade items will get a good following.

That is much better than fighting through the Google mess...

Take care.

Well, he is sure cute. REALLY, REALLY CUTE!!! I don't use any kind of media either. Just not interested. I let my items do their own thing. I do have many repeat buyers, but also new ones as they find me. It happens when it happens. Thank you again for getting back with me. It was nice chatting with you. Tiff

Re: Items are showing "used" on Google search

Put NEW at beginning of title. Used will still be there but buyers will tend to click your item upon seeing new.

Ebay has nothing to do with a google search. Take your concerns up with google.
