How does a seller have to pay shipping back and all of the fees for an item that is clearly stated as having a defect, My entire description is pointing out the defect and describing it. The listing is as is no returns please make offers accordingly. Ebay automatically ruled the case in buyers favor. The return reason, item not as described? The buyer never read the description nor looked at the pictures otherwise he would have known about the smearing (listed in all caps and in larger font than the rest of the description) of the printing. THE SMEAR IS THE EXACT REASON HE WANTED TO RETURN IT!!! Why do I end up paying for this?

I didn't find the sold listing you mentioned, but did find your current mask listings.
Pull those before you get more frustrated with eBay.

you are you are 100% on the losing side. EBay will always favor the buyer and screw the rear end of all the sellers. As much as we'd love to quit eBay the seller bases huge and you can literally sell anything. In cases like yours eBay should step in and pay both parties their money I'm sure a few hundred dollars or whatever cannot compare to the billions they remake. Not to mention the seller fees whopping 16% fees between eBay and PayPal. numerous times I have just taken the loss and added the buyer to my block list. Looking at Amazon but that's a whole different ball game and they're so picky and how to sell your items. Best bet would be to take a few losses in the meantime advertise your own site maybe you can build your own client base away from eBay.
I picture the eBay staff room full of snowflakes and ran by Boomers. Wild Generations X and Y continue to sell and get screwed.
Personally every time I have run into a problem and lose money I divide that amount of money into the total items I sell. For example I would split a $1 loss by adding $0.25 to four items

In your sold listings a see no mention of anything that is defective and sold as is ? I see plenty of titles that say your items work and/or excellent ? If you want to inform your buyers and get the best out of a transaction you have to go both ways with your information. Always use your titles as complete as possible because that is the most important part of your listing.
