Item not showing with Brand Filter applied

Hello there. I just listed a pink IZOD polo shirt, and for some reason  it does not appear in search results with a Brand Filter applied. I wonder what would be the cause of this? I put IZOD under the "Brand" field.

When you created the listing, did you type in the brand name or select it from a list?

If you typed the brand name and it differed in any respect from the presentation of the brand name in Item Specifics, (caps/lower case etc) it won't be found by the brand filter.  The only use the brand filter has is if you are able to select it from the list and even then....it's not going to work if you're using Sell Similar or Relist and you select from the list as you originally typed it - that pick list is only attached to your specific listing. So it still won't be found in a brand filter search.

It's a nuisance and a half.

Wait a couple of days.  It might show up.  Sometimes the item specifics based searches don't get populated very quickly. Your listing is still relatively new. (less than 2 days old)

I typed in the brand name. In fact from the prepopulated list I noticed many brands were missing. Is IZOD a restricted brand on eBay?

Just did a search and found over 75,000 results, so no, I don't think so.
