Item delisted as counterfeit, but it's authentic

I was selling an authentic NIB Star Wars Stanley Cup and it was delisted as being counterfeit.  I disputed the claim, with images of my purchase screenshot from Woot.com (Amazon owned site) back in 2021, but it seems it was deleted anyway.

What is my next step?  Just relist it and hope it doesn't happen again?

So something that jumped out to me was the phrase “Stanley Cup”. Stanley calls them tumblers, possibly to avoid the same confusion with the famous Stanley Cup, the trophy given to the world champion hockey team each year. I saw someone recently claiming they had Stanley Cup replica trophies removed by eBay, and I’m wondering if that’s actually why yours was removed.

Was it a VeRO program violation, or just an  eBay takedown? That should be clear from the message you received from eBay.

The website you bought yours from is not immune from selling counterfeits.

Does the Star Wars franchise sell Stanley products? I seriously doubt it. Amazon has all kinds of counterfeit stuff. Unless you bought it from an authorized store that sells Star Wars stuff, you should not believe for a second it is legit. Relist it again and you will probably get banned. The bigger the company, the less tolerance eBay has for counterfeits.

Stanley Products would have to have bough a license to use Star Wars on their products.  The item has a trilogy of potential issues.   Could be problems from the Stanley Cup Hockey Franchise,  Star Wars from Disney / Lucas Films or Stanley Products.

If your item was removed, counterfeit or not, do not relist.

eBay will remove it again and after a couple times of removing it, eBay will remove all your listings and not allow you to sell anymore.
