Hey All,
Relatively new to selling here, and I have a question. I sold an item for $35 on 7/26, and shipped via USPS First Class Mail on 7/27. Tracking shows that on 7/29, a delivery was attempted, but USPS left notice that there was no secure location. Customer rescheduled delivery for yesterday, 8/1, and the tracking shows the item as Delivered yesterday, but the customer just opened an INR case, saying they have not received it. I realize $35 is not a huge sum of money, but I'd really rather not be out that cash, especially since I did everything properly on my end. I printed my shipping label through eBay, and entered the tracking number into the INR case. Do I have any recourse here other than to refund? If I wait for the case to get escalated after 3 days, do I have a chance of winning?

If tracking shows the items was delivered, the buyer will lose their case. You've covered yourself by entering the tracking number into the case.
Your chance of winning is somewhere around 100%, with a margin of error of 0%.

Make sure you enter the tracking number in the case and add the delivery date to the case, then you can escalate.
Just to be safe!

If you have a couple of free minutes you can call eBay and go through an automated phone system that will instantly close the case in your favor.

I'm pretty sure it's a case of the delivery person stashing the package somewhere discreet and the recipient not being aware.
