Item Description Changed from English to Spanish on its own ?

   So I sold an item, the listing was in English then when I checked the description after the sale for accuracy the description was in Spanish. I don't write anything in Spanish, why did my description change languages this is very stressful to see

Indeed.  Something is off when it comes to their state coding or something maybe?

I am freaking out also because some of my listing descriptions show in Spanish for me and others are as I made them, in English. I checked from another account and didn't find Spanish ones.
I'm confused about this. Hope you post back if you found any answers as to why!

This has been happening to me, just as someone browsing various eBay listings, for the last few weeks now at least.  No idea why, but items will randomly start displaying in Spanish.

I've looked all over the various settings for my account and have been unable to find a solution, searching online brought me to this thread.

I just clicked on that link and the description was in English for me (but I have seen this issue before, so I'm not doubting you).  Very odd, especially that we still don't really know why it's happening or how!

have you been traveling resently to any "spanish speaking" country when you did that? because the problem is that Ebay without a care about what you want, will decide what language your page should be Auto translate on based on the rough location of your IP adress

that or you all are using a VPN that is based on a spanish country

i hope ebay see this and stop auto translating, there is a reason we have set the page to english in the first place

I can confirm. The item description is automatically translated to Spanish.

It is a bug on the eBay side.
