A buyer  who has not bid on this item is being very rude in respect to the shipping charges. I am using the eBay system that allows me to list a weight and size of the package. eBay then computes the shipping according to our zip codes. He has called me a gouger, I have told him I have no control of the postal rates or how eBay calculates shipping charges. He/her/they continue to harass me and have not bid on my item so why does it matter. I am a seasoned seller/buyer with an outstanding reputation. I shouldn't have to put up with this abuse over a $10.00 item.

You dont need to put up with the abuse, either ignore the buyer or report them to eBay, simple as that. Also add this person to your block list as well. 

Forogot to add that you can not name and shame another member, might want to edit your post.

Most seasoned sellers know how to put someone on their Blocked Buyer List.

It is best not to engage with these ‘lost souls’ if they contact you. Ignore them as best you can—sounds like they could have an affliction of some kind, so there is no way to reason with, calm them, or appeal to their better nature. If their talk turns threatening or dangerous, you can find a link in the policy below to report such unacceptable behavior to eBay.

Send a final message with the weight and dimensions of the package and this link to the eBay Shipping Calculator. That will enable the buyer to double check the dollar value. If he sends another message after that, block him.

Don't waste your time and energy on this nonsense. And don't  put your own account at risk by revealing user id's.

Since they haven't bid on anything or purchased anything from you.  Run don't walk to your Block Bidder list and get their ID on your BBL.  If they purchase from you, you are likely to have problems with them no matter what you do.

You came and complained.. yet you relisted for cheaper price and a cheaper shipping option. So why did you come to complain seeing how you were so experienced in the first place?

The original listing offered Priority Mail shipping, and the relist uses Ground Advantage; that's why it's cheaper.
