I was in my store and I was going to revise one of my items so I clicked on it.

Instead of taking me to the listing itself, it brought up a window to let me purchase the item.

I've never seen this before. Is this something new?

Of course I didn't go through with the purchase, but as I recall, you used to not be able to buy from yourself.

Is this something new?

I'm not sure? I've never bought anything directly from my watch list. I always go to the listing.

Yes, it is new. I posted something similar the other day. It has already changed again, though.

When I posted about it, clicking on the title in that pop up window opened the store again. Yesterday, clicking the title in the pop up window opened the item in it's own page.

@anasazirose that was a glitch that appears to have been fixed now.

I just saw this today for the first time, did a quick search of the community and saw posts about it dating back 6+ weeks and felt like I was super late to this party ... now i feel so much better that inhawaii was unaware of this until now LOL. Sorry, but i figured you would have at least been made aware via the community since you are very active on here.

This is awesome as far as e-commerce goes, being "user"-friendly and efficient and all, but seriously, people are going to be buying things based on picture(s) and 80 (or less) character title. Seriously? I just feel so many issues are headed our ways as sellers now that this literally ENCOURAGES people to buy without even having a description on the screen. If a buyer fails to LOOK AT a description (forget reading it, that's too much work), that's their fault...if EBay fails to provide that description, then (Whiskey Tango Foxtrot) Come on EBAY!!!

I now feel like I have to bite my tongue before I blame buyers for not reading a description... just had one the other day.
