Top Rated and PowerSellers – You're one of the best sellers on eBay, providing an exceptional quality of customer service, as well as meeting minimum sales requirements for Top Rated Seller or PowerSeller level. You're also eligible for Top Rated Plus listing benefits.

If I'm reading that correctly, I can get the Top Rated Plus listing benefits without being a Top Rated Seller (because I'm a PowerSeller)?

Or, did they just not proof read their pages again?

This bit, on the same page, seems to contradict that:

As a Top Rated Seller, you can qualify for these exclusive Top Rated Plus benefits:

No, you are "eligible", but you can't get them unless you meet the other requirements.  My posting account is also "eligible": I just have to sell something on it, sell enough to become TRS, then change policies to TRS+....

Or, did they just not proof read their pages again?

Well yeah, that too.

Hi @ted_200, as far as I am aware, PowerSellers do not receive the Top Rated Plus listing benefits and I can see how this paragraph could cause some confusion. I have contacted the appropriate teams to check on this topic and will update everyone once I have more information, no problem!

I thought not, but a lot of stuff is changing around here very rapidly, and it occurred to me I might have missed something or not understood what was going on.  If it turns out it is correct, be sure to get back to me, I might actually change to 1-day and 30 day Free Returns.

Thanks for the reply.

Partial TRS benefits in form of USPS Comm+ benefits for high vol non-TRS (certain powersellers):

---
*Negotiated Commercial Plus pricing is available via eBay Labels to all eBay Top-rated sellers and sellers with an average of 300 or more transactions per month. eBay
Top Rated Sellers who have average more than 300 transactions per month and use
eBay labels for postage, will receive $100 worth of insurance on USPS Priority Mail at no additional cost..
---

from footnote near bottom of

Been like that for years. Maybe the page you read was incorporating that really badly.

Hi @ted_200, just wanted to provide an update on this topic; I've been working with our content and policy teams and we will be making necessary changes for clarity to the Help Page you raised. The Top Rated Seller Plus discount is only available to those sellers who qualify for Top Rated Seller status and who have listings that meet the TRS+ eligibility requirements. Adjustments will be made to make this clear and I appreciate everyone who worked to raise this concern!

Some members mght find that statement confusing, since the requirements for the TR-Plus badge are different from the requirements for the 10% FVF credit in some categories.

It has become important to distinguish between requirement for the TR-Plus badge vs the TRS discount, so we should probably avoid the phrase "Top Rated Seller Plus discount" even though  most categories still have the same requirements for both benefits.
