This is what eBay sent me. "Your listing was removed: VeRO Infringement Policy
We had to remove your listing because it didn’t follow our VeRO Infringement Policy. Violating the intellectual property rights of a rights owner is not allowed."
So I e-mail the company and they answer me saying that my listing is a violation of Intellectual Properties Law. And That's all they say!
This seems so unconstitutional to me! This was an old Direct TV receiver. I listed it as used and they say I broke some law?? If we go by what eBay says is a violation, then anything that has Intellectual property or Copyrights or Trademarks is illegal to resell!
Does anyone know if I can do anything about this?

Personally, were I you, I would not try to relist them on ebay. 'Bots don't read email well and more take downs of the same thing will get your account compromised. The letter you got sounds a lot like something a user might get from any 3rd party, outsourced CS, sorry to say.
Unless, you go through channels and file the counter complaint or whatever it is called (information should be on the ebay take down notice). It is the form you file, and then the VeRO holder either joins you in court for a judgement of the case or the VeRO holder withdraws their complaint with ebay. Might want to remember the down side - if you file and it goes to court, fees may be very expensive.

Does one actually own these receivers? I see you have more DirecTV receivers listed, I'd pull them before they suspend you.

You might want to read this - sounds like the real owner report the infringement to eBay.

I don't believe Direct TV ever sells those receivers, only rents them and they must be returned when replaced or when terminating service.
That being the case, yours would technically have been stolen at some point. So, I would follow the advice given and take all those listings down, because eBay is pretty quick to permanently suspend seller accounts for VERO, based on what I've seen on these discussion boards.

Yes, it is a free country - IF one works and lives within the bounds of the laws that govern it and the rules of engagement that allow others to be free, as well.
Sort of like the old joke about the man who comes to the US from an oppressed European country. Walking down the street in New York, breathing the free air, no restrictions on where he can go, he walks up to a police man in uniform and punches him in the nose. All of a sudden he is on the ground, being handcuffed and read his right. The man looks at the policeman and says that he thought this was the land of the free. The policeman says, 'Yes, this is the land of the free, but your freedom ends where my nose begins'.

eBay owns the site and can stop you from listing anything they want - it's in the user agreement you accepted.
if we go by what eBay says is a violation
eBay did not say this was a violation; Direct TV did.
eBay set up the VERO program to conform with the "safe harbor" provision of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 2008. If an intellectual property owner objects, they remove the listing and it is up to you to hash it out with Direct TV.
anything that has Intellectual property or Copyrights or Trademarks is illegal to resell
What you stated is simply not true. It was not removed because it is intellectual property, it was pulled because Direct TV is claiming you violated their intellctual property rights. There is an ocean of difference between the two.
Direct TV is a service - are you sure that you are not selling something that you do not actually own? Most residential Direct TV receivers are leased, not owned.
What model was it? For instance from what I can gather, any H24, HR24, H25, H44, HR44, HR54 and Genie receivers are leased and must be returned to Direct TV.

That's correct. No matter how old they are, once you terminate their service, they send you a box to ship back the receiver(s). You don't own them - DirectTV does.
