And even then, I don't think you can remove it as a payment option. I would be very surprised if this is possible. The stated purpose of managed payments is to give buyers more payment options. Therefore, I would find it odd if sellers could remove individual options on a whim.

Yes, but at that point eBay is dealing with PayPal. It is invisibel to the seller when a buyers uses PayPal to pay a seller via Managed Payments.

I don't believe Paypal is offered on Amazon.

The only way to use Paypal on Amazon is a really cumbersome work-around using payment cards. Paypal is direct competition with AmazonPay so I doubt Paypal will be onboard as a payment system for Amazon even after it's completely split from eBay.
