This is the first time I've ever sold with variations and sadly my variations aren't limited.
Is there any way to specify quantity for Attributes and Options?
Let's say I'm selling item "A". Item A has 10 different color choices. I know I can set the quantity of each color.
Now let's say item A has 3 mandatory selections in the listing. You must select an Option for Attribute A, Attribute B, and Attribute C, the Option being specific for each attribute.
So let's say I'm selling 10 vehicles that are exactly the same. I have 3 wheel designs to pick from, and only 2 of each wheel design. I also have 3 spoiler designs, but only two spoilers for each design.
Right now I'm basically using the quantity of the lowest common denominator, the color of my items. Since that is the most I can absolutely sell of each all my Options and Attributes are reflecting the same quantity. Once I sell enough of the base item that I'm falling short with one of my attributes or options I have to find that exact variation and manually edit the quantity to reflect "out of stock".
If I could set the quantity for every option I wouldn't have to manually update the specific variations if I can't fullfil that request.
Any help? Thanks

I know I will not be of much help here... but
I think I have seen clothes sellers, who have options of color, and size.
But I have never seen a third option... not saying that you can't.
And some cats, do not allow variations at all.
Can you give an example... it does not have to be what you are selling.
Just anything.

I tried to give 2 examples in my first post but I'll make another maybe a little clearer.
I have a total of 15 controllers with 9 available colors for sale. I only have 1 or 2 of each color. I have a total of 5 static board upgrades, 5 programmable board upgrades, or you can choose no board upgrade.
I do not want to have multiple listings for:
-controller with specific color(I can set specific quantity of each color, which is perfect but it ends there)
-controller with board upgrade(I can set specific quantity of each board option, but I'd have to put in notes to message me the color you'd like as you must pick one)
-or have a separate listing for each color, then add options to it
This would be super easy if ebay simply had a Quantity for EVERY option you enter. I could list the controllers and set the quantity of each color(1 of one color, 2 of another, etc for the remaining 7 colors), so when I add Programmable Board, QTY 5, Static Board, QTY 5 that would be perfect.
Instead with my variations ebay's going to assume I have 27 available, where in reality I only have 15. I have variations based on my 9 colors to pick from. Last night I was manually entering all my quantities and got half way done and quit because I'd have hundreds of combinations and I'm not about to zero out or subtract 1 each from possible variation based on the color sold.

since I can only sell a possible of 15 controllers maybe I should set the quantity to 15 for all variations and just zero out the specific variations once I'm sold out of that color or board upgrade. I just wish there was a way to set quantity of every available option so that it would automatically show "out of stock" for any variation using those options that are zeroed out.
