I am evacuated due to a direct hit from Laura. I received a text that we can expect to be without electricity for weeks. Frankly, I'm not sure that I even have a house, much less my ebay stock. I would like to put these listings on hold. If I am able to return home, and all is well, I don't want to pay fees to list again. I will appreciate any advice.

you can go to your vacation settings and place your store on vacation (may be a store owner only option), or you can edit all your listings and set quantity at 0.

if you set quantity at zero, make sure you have the out of stock option selected in your settings. sorry i forgot that part.

First, get out of harms way.
When you get to a safe place ... if you have a store put it into vacation mode.
If no store, either end the listings ... you will have 60 days to relist ... or raise the prices so high no one would buy and add best offer to the listings and extend your handling time.
Stay safe!

Thank you. It doesn't appear to be an option without a store.

First, hope you and yours stay safe. Prayers for your home.
I understand you can have ebay temporarily hide all your listings, but it takes a phone call to Customer Service, which is a bit difficult right now.

As far as I know, the only way listings can be hidden is if a seller has a store and sets up their vacation settings to hide them. I have never heard of customer service doing so.

First and foremost, may you and your family stay safe and be well. Way too much to go through with all else in the world! My heart goes out to you and all that have been effected by this.
I also do not have a store and needed to hold shipping on my items, due to some unforeseen issues, all are BIN.
After a few calls to Ebay, the only way to do this, is what I was told, is to either extend your shipping time on all your listings or end them.
I hope this is of some help.

First of all, that is not true and second, the OP ended all their listings 2 days ago shortly after posting this thread.
As noted in post #3, you can hide your listings without ending them even if you don't have a store. Perhaps that post didn't go into enough details. eBay has an option called "Out of stock" which keeps listings alive even when the quantity reaches zero. This is intended for sellers of multiple-quantity items who occasionally run out of them but who don't want to lose their nice "Sold" totals.
So a seller who doesn't have a Store could (1) set up the "Out of stock" option in their site preferences; (2) change all their fixed price listing quantities to zero; (3) take time off without worrying about having sales; then (4) change the quantity back to 1 (or whatever) when they are ready to sell again.

I appreciate your corrections, although the idea of :
"Out of stock" which keeps listings alive even when the quantity reaches zero. This is intended for sellers of multiple-quantity items who occasionally run out of them but who don't want to lose their nice "Sold" totals."
Means, to me, that your listing has a multiple quantity or choice of some sort, ie color, size, short or long.....So if that is not the case, it is not an option. It was not given to me, most likely due to the fact that I do not have those type of listings, or I was not fully informed. Either way, it clearly is an option for some that do.
Therefore, it goes back to the options that were given to me....no store...go to seller hub and increase your shipping time (which for some, like myself, also leads to losing your top seller status) or end your listings and relist when you are able.
I am definitely someone that is not "perfect" and here to learn, but I was relaying what was very recently given to me.
I wish you the very best in all that you do.

I'm sorry that my explanation wan't clear. Every seller has access to the "Out of stock" option, regardless of whether they have a store and regardless of whether the listing was for multiple items. I mentioned the original purpose for which eBay designed it; but it can also be used by sellers who just want to put a single-item fixed price listing on hold for a while.
eBay customer service reps don't know everything. The above technique for using the OOS option has been described and endorsed by eBay employees on these discussion boards.
Increasing your handling time doesn't affect your TRS status. If you are a TRS, the listings that have same-day or 1day handling are eligible for the TR-Plus badge, but there is no penalty or defect for choosing a longer handling time. You just won't have the TR-Plus badge on a listing with longer handling.

Thank you! As I have said before, I learn something new every time I come and look for something not necessarily related to what I find. No, I was not informed of that option. I do understand that you loose the badge but not the level. My mistake in not explaining myself better. I do appreciate you taking the time to help me understand.
