Is there a way to permanently disable the "Buy It Now" button?

This was not an issue until I had to do one single "Buy It Now" auction for a specific sale, and now that option is automatically enabled.  ONE STUPID TIME and now I have to disable it on every single listing.  One listing I forgot and the But It Now price was the same as the opening bid!  By what logic would that every exist?!!

Is there any way to just tell ebay "I never want that button to be auto-enabled?"

Hi @danizen

I've seen some quirks with the current listing tool for PCs.  I use Templates for my listings and what you describe does NOT happen when creating new Auction listings.  I seldom use the BIN on Auctions and I never use the Offers on BINs but yes, sometimes when I edit an Active listing the tool turns something ON that I usually have off.

Wow what is "Templates?"  That sounds like what I need.  Is that an app?

@danizen  On a computer / laptop click the Sell link in the upper right hand corner of the page.  When the next page opens look in the left gutter for Listing templates.  Here's a link for your convenience but I wanted to explain how you find it in Seller Hub:  Manage listing templates (ebay.com)

You are allowed 50 Templates ... you can make a generic one for Auction listings and not even name what the item is ... for myself I have them for cast iron, Pyrex, model kits, locomotives, freight cars, board games, etc.

One good example of using them would be if I got 10 Christmas train cars.  I could Edit the Freight car Template and add Christmas and the specific manufacturer, etc then Save the template again  ... then use it to create each listing for the 10 cars by simply adding specific details for each car each time I use the Template ... once you customize it to an item just click the Save for later at the bottom and the listing gets dumped in your Draft file .... or you can List it right away, your choice.

Thank you so much!  I didn't even know about the Seller Hub.  I got some templates going now.
