Is there a way to make a second variation menu appear only if a specific, first option is selected?

I have multiple similar items and I want the buyer to be able to purchase whatever quantity of whatever variant they want. Here's the listing.

Currently I have it set up so that they can purchase one item by selecting the type. Seems to work.

But what if they want to purchase two items that are different variants? I can't name off every combination of every quantity and every variant. And if I make a Quantity option, then Item 1 and Item 2 options, no one will be able to purchase just one item because eBay will make them put something for the Item 2 box.

Solutions that would work for me:

Make variant boxes appear only if the buyer selects a certain option in a previous box.

Make variant boxes optional, so in the example above the buyer purchasing one item will be able to proceed.

Wouldn't they just choose a variant, choose the quantity, then add to cart? Then choose another variant, choose the quantity, add to cart, etc.?

Yes, there is a way to make a complex drop list where the second list is dependent on the first, and only the appropriate second list is shown, depending on the first selection. But there would still only be one selection allowed at a time.

As @popblox  has instructed, you don't need that. Just be sure to instruct your buyers to "add to cart" after each selection and then go to checkout after all selections have been made That means you would not be able to use the feature "immediate payment required" in that listing because you'd want the buyer to be able to continue selecting different items from your single listing.

I just tested your listing by adding one of each to my cart, and your 20% discount was applied to the whole basket of three different items. 🙂
