I was concerned when I read feedback from a seller. The item description describes in detail a sex toy I bought. I'm concerned that as a seller potential buyers may read my feedback and see this embarrassing items description. Is there a way to have the seller remove it, or can ebay mask or make not visible this particular feedback. If yes, how do I ask for this action to take place? Thanks, red faced and in the dog house with the misses, yikes... Thought the description would be less revealing since its such a personal purchase.

Only you can see the details on your feedback page. Log out to see it how it actually looks to everyone.

Most sellers make listings for items like sex toys private so the rest of us can't see the descriptions or feedback. I have looked at your feedback and don't see anything embarrassing. I do see private listings. Anyway I don't see why any buyer would care that you bought a sex toy.

Hi @post-c.i.f. sorry for your situation. If it is any consolation, I just looked at your feedback and saw no information outlined as what you described seeing in your As A Buyer feedback. If the vendor was casedazzle, the sale appears as a private listing with no description shown.

@post-c.i.f.
eBay does not allow just anyone to see what you purchased anymore. Only you and the seller will know your ID regardless if it was a private listing or not.

As the others have said, only you and the seller can see what you bought, but that does mean that anyone who has access to your account and/or device can see it. Other users, who can't view your account, can't see what you have bought.
If you want to keep items secret from your spouse, you would have to not let them use your eBay account, or your device if you allow auto-login to eBay.

You're okay. Here is a screenshot of your feedback received as a buyer, as seen by the rest of the world:

Since your allowed to have more than one eBay account, I suggest you open a second account only for such purchases. You will need another email address for it. That is a good thing as it will keep messages about those purchases out of your main email.

Alright, lol, I have not been in this sitjuation before. That is reassuring to know. Guess back in the day we could see others purchases. Somewhat recently seems as eBay modified things so we are not privy to that. Appreciate EVERYONES answers, the more I read I calmed down. I didnt care about my wife seeing this, she will know soon enough X-mas. Its that I didnt want potential buyers to see this and go ewww or such. You all rock , Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas to you all!!

Yes, that is exactly right, @post-c.i.f. Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays to you as well!! Best of luck to you this selling season, also!!
(PS—just as another layer of security, you might consider separating your buying from your selling account. Have a dedicated account for each.)

As others have said items you purchased are not visible on your feedback. However, if you leave feedback and IF someone wants to find out what you have purchased, it often takes just a little detective work to find out via the seller's feedback. If you don't leave feedback but the seller does, it might be possible to figure out what the purchase was but more difficult. But if the listing itself is a private listing, there is no way for anyone to see what you purchased.
