Is there a way to easily bulk add a message to all my Ebay listings... and then delete them?

I am about to leave town for a week starting Monday but want to leave my store open for  sales.  Leaving very early Monday so no time to even ship things that sell over the weekend that day. I am going to have to switch to 10-day handling today and then lower it down every day starting Monday from 5-4-3-2-1. Most of my listings say "Same Day Shipping" in the title and in the description so no way I can easily get rid of that in my listings. I need to add a message that states I am on vacation so please expect a delay in shipment  so people can still buy from me and not be expecting to see package shipment/movement the same day like it says in my listings. How can I bulk add a message to all my listings and just as importantly.... easily bulk remove that message?

@leareamc

1. You will be better off using the time Away function instead of giving mixed Signals to your potential customers.   This link explains Time Away:

2. As you figured, you can change your Handling time in Bulk but the messages about Same Day shipping would be a problem IMHO.

3. I would take statements about shipping OUT of the Title, that's not relevant to Search.

Ok yes I don't know what I was thinking... I was aware of the Time Away feature and have actually used it once but it has been a long time ago and forgot about the fact you get to put a message on all the listings.

According to a couple of threads a few weeks ago with a very detailed convo with the 'pinks', we no longer have to change the handling time to cover our Time Away.   I haven't tried it yet, but the convos got down to the nitty gritty, wish I could remember their titles to link here.

LIke you, when I do Time Away I leave my listings up for purchase, just be aware that the print & flag that the seller is away is often missed by buyers.   I personally take the extra step of contacting each buyer to be sure they've seen it.   You may want to consider it.  IDK how many sales you get, I only average a couple a day, so it's easy to do.

Yeah that's what worries me... that they miss the little message. Now is it true that you can enter your own personalized message or does Ebay only allow the same basic message to be put across the top? Btw, on a normal week without any postal holidays, if an items sells early on Monday and I have 5-day shipping, is that package going to be due for shipment on Friday or Monday?

Ok **bleep**, well I just set Time Away up and now I remember why I don't like the way Ebay does the message... it is only a small line with flag that can't be customized. Only the response message to people who message you is personalized. That doesn't really help. I wish Ebay would allow you at least a certain amount of characters to input your own personalized message banner across the top of all your listings. They could at least make it stand out within your listings.

Yeah, they used to allow a customization of the message on your store, but the flag was still the same size & people had to go into your store to see it.   If you are concerned, you can either select not to have items visible for sale or as I suggested above, just write your buyers.  I see you only have 167 listings, so I wouldn't think it would be a huge hardship to write a note to your buyers to be sure they saw it.   As I said above, that's what I always do.  Most of them noticed it, but it gives me peace of mind .
