Is there a way to avoid the 4-day non-payment rule?

I have a buyer who purchased multiple items for me that ended 8/13/23. The buyer has asked for a couple more days to make payment. I am OK with that, but I am afraid the auctions will automatically be cancelled after 4 days of non-payment.  I'm good with waiting a couple more days for payment.  Is there a way to avoid the acutions automatically getting cancelled?

If you're OK with it, just make sure your account isn't set up to automatically cancel the orders after 4 days.

Go to your accounts page. On there is a section for payments.

You can either extend all your payment due dates, or you can do it just for that buyer.

Also, you can re-send the invoice, which should change the due date to the day the invoice is sent.

Sometimes that does not work for single items.

Hope that helps

As others mentioned in your account settings under selling preferences there is a section for Preferences for items awaiting payment. Click on edit and you will get the following. Simply adjust the settings and turn off the automatic cancel unpaid items.

As Penny suggested, if you send the buyer an invoice that re-starts the 4 days. Since he purchased multiple items, the official invoice policy of re-setting the timeline applies.

I'd be afraid that if your site preferences are already set up to cancel automatically after 4 days, then revising now might not affect a listing that's already Sold.
