Is there ANY way to have shipping labels cost taken from paypal account?

It's about to drive me crazy to have the cost of shipping labels taken from my debit card now instead of my Paypal available funds when I have a sale. I don't like this new method eBay has started. Any way to change a setting to stop this and go back to having the cost deducted from Paypal, where the customer's money is sitting?

eBay didn't do anything. PayPal is the one choosing the payment source.

One of two things happened:
1. Your preferred automatic payment source setting in your PayPal account got changed by gremlins
Check here: https://www.paypal.com/myaccount/autopay/

or more likely

2. You have a personal (not business) PayPal account that was not verified, and either didn't receive of ignored the emails telling you that you would no longer be able to use your PayPal balance to pay for anything starting Mar 29, 2019 because of new Federal regulations.

If that is the case, PayPal would no longer allow use of your PayPal balance for eBay labels and would fall back to another payment
method (like your debit card)

If it doesn't say
"PayPal balance $xxx.xx Available in your PayPal Cash account" or "PayPal balance $xxx.xx Available in your PayPal Cash Plus account"

at the top of your PayPal summary page https://www.paypal.com/myaccount/summary/ then that is the problem, and you need to jump through the PayPal verification hoops to get a Cash Account in place and be able to spend from your balance again.

You need to upgrade your PayPal account to a cash plus. You may be able to swap it back without an upgrade, but you need to login to PayPal to fix.

Everyone has options. Just be sure the best option is right for you.

Re: Is there ANY way to have shipping labels cost taken from paypal account?

I am surprised so many people missed this
My own sister called me & told me her purchases and her labels are coming from her bank account instead of a Paypal balance .
I told her that I mentioned it to her but due to more important things (her health) she forgot.
She logged in and had a important message at the bell icon that explained she needed to supply a document with name & address such as a utility provider & there was a spot for her to scan to her computer & link it within the Paypal message.
