Is the search working?

I did a search for "Whelen Slimlighter".  That's  brand and model of  a emergency vehicle light.

I come out with 5 results.

Then below the results it shows "people who viewed this item also viewed" and this comes up, the title is:    "Whelen Slimlighter Lighthead SLPLLRB L@@K".  Why did this listing not show when i searched for "Whelen Slimlighter"? 

I'm confused.

I did the same search in All categories......7 listings including the L@@K one.

No "people who viewed this item also viewed" at all.

I just did it again.

Now i come back with, it's says "6 results" but it's only showing 5 results.

And that 1 listing with the "L@@K" in the title still does not show. 

Freaky.

It's your location, the L@@K listing does not ship to Hawaii.

It's says 7 listings (6 for you because you don't see L@@K), but one of the listings is a variation (with two choices).

So the 5 you see plus the L@@K that doesn't ship to you + the extra from the variation listing = 7

Now if you can tell me why some sellers will not ship to Hawaii, even if the buyer is willing to pay more???   LOL 

I think i'm going to change my listings to read WILL NOT SHIP TO IDAHO!

Seller uses UPS Ground, doesn't exist for Hawaii. Maybe they could use USPS Parcel Select but if they don't normally use USPS for shipping that may simply not want to deal with the issue. Depending on the type of item and their volume UPS Ground could be far cheaper than any other option.

Quite a few of the places I buy from online only use UPS.

On eBay you do see sellers that use USPS but still exclude HI & AK, usually it's something they copied from other sellers and don't actually know why, others don't understand that it's Zone 8, no different than coast to coast in the lower 48.

I contacted ebay on Twitter this morning.  I searched for Vintage Japanese Fabric and got Watches.

So I would say...no search is not working.  😉

Are you sure you weren't searching for "Vintage Japanese Swatches"?
