Since the start of the Covid-19 virus, I have had a serious uptick in revenue. I do not sell any Corona related items at all. Is this going to continue? Most of my items are old and discontinued home repair parts.

My sales of used goods are up too but the local Thrift Stores are closed so inventory replenishment will eventually be an issue.

It all depends on the supply and demand and always has. That is why clothes sellers and certain categories have been here for years complaining about low sales. If people are staying home they are repairing things which the demand goes up. When things get back to normal and people go back to work the demand will shift to other things. Those that are smart and have money are making millions right now because they purchase stocks with the most demand.

Good times don't last forever, prepare for the lean times that may lie ahead.

Home repair parts? Have you seen a Home Depot or Lowes during the pandemic? It's busier than BEFORE the pandemic.
As long as there are "covidiots" out there thinking that during a worldwide pandemic is a good time to go to Home Depot or Lowes to buy thngs for home fixer-upper projects, your sales should be good.

Count me among the covidiots then.
Because I find that being stuck at home is a great time to stop by Lowes to buy things for home fixer-upper projects while I am out grocery shopping.
And I find Lowes is much less crowded and provides better social distancing than the grocery store right next door.
But neither one is as crowded as the liquor store right between them.

"Is the current increase in sales going to continue?"
Yes - until something happens.

You ask a great question that a lot of us have been wondering about. I decided to consult an expert in the field of advice: the Magic 8-Ball. The result looks promising....

My sales are really taken off. Especially over the last 2 weeks. It helps that I picked up great items for resale. All I can say is enjoy it while it lasts. I'm sure if won't if we are FORCED into managed payments. I'd doubt I'll keep selling here if that happens. I'm quite happy with my current set up. Stay safe all. 🙂
