I'm sorry but your question makes little sense to me.
Can you please be more specific?

The advantage is many buyers search newly listed. After a couple days you should expect the same results as you always had.

I don't end listings, I just change the description or something a little bit after a year or so.

i am just seeing that old tricks don’t work for me anymore. When i ended and listed item as similar it performed worse. Changing description does nothing for me too. I noticed that every time ebay messes with categiries they removed my item specifics and car fitments which contributes to item performing worse. I was just doing those couple months ago and now I have to redo them again as they disappeared partially.

I typed in a search for your Mercedes cassette. Ther are 26 like yours that are cheaper, some by $100. Old tricks may not work but researching prices to keep up with other sellers may.

Are you selling something? What are you selling?

there is always some sellers selling broken defective untested items cheap. Every category has that you should know about it if you were actually selling.

I Think it can work at times but not consistantly. It get’s the item at the top of the newly listed, so that can be an advantage to those who use that search option.

Correct, you will always be competing with lesser quality listings offered at a lower price, the lower price does NOT always attract a buyer who wants something of quality. Also, your experience as a seller, your presentation and feedback play a big part in getting the price you want and need.
