I listed an item with the incorrect price and the item was barley even up for 24 hours before it sold. When it sold I noticed my mistake and immediately refunded/messaged the buyer. I offered them something else for free as compensation and they said no thank you. A month later they left me negative feedback even thought I refunded/messaged minutes from their purchase. Is there anything I can do to remove this feedback? I don't want this negative feedback for all of next year now because I forgot to add a 1 to my total 😞

I see absolutely no reason why eBay would remove this feedback.
You made a mistake, own it!

You made a mistake.
The buyer was disappointed, rightly so.
The negative is warranted and does not violate ebay policy.
Why should it be removed?
But to answer your question, YES, negative feedback can be removed, but probably not yours.

Which means nothing. The buyer didn't want a refund & excuses, they wanted the item for what they thought was a good deal. Just because you gave them an immediate refund doesn't mean the buyer's disappointment just disappears

What type of negative feedback can be removed and what do you have to do to get the ball rolling? I would like to know just in case for the future.

You canceled the order over $1?
You'll be stuck with it forever.

I assume you mean the 1 to equal $100.
You made a mistake and you are expecting your buyer to be fine with it because you refunded. It simply doesn't work that way. You made an honest error, but your buyer is disappointed that they could not get what they purchased. That disappointment if real and it is what they expressed in the feedback they left for you.
To get it removed, the feedback would have to breach some Ebay rule and it simply doesn't. However what you did does. I realize it was likely an honest error, still it was your error.
Do NOT respond to that negative feedback with anything less that accepting your responsibility for the mistake in your listing. Do NoT blame the buyer, as they did nothing wrong. Own your honest mistake and the disappointment you caused the buyer. But I would not advise saying ANYTHING about you cancelling the sale because you had it priced wrong. That would not be a good thing to say.
It is unlikely that this feedback will cause you any notable problems, unless you respond to the feedback badly.

Well here's just one example.
Let's say I sell a DVD to someone and they leave me a negative feedback "Terrible movie!"
That qualifies for removal. It has nothing to do with the transaction.
As far as getting it removed, hopefully someone will come along with a link.

This Help page about feedbck removal has a long list of reasons which eBay will consider, starting with "
We remove all feedback that contains any:

In your case the negative feedback comment calmly and politely expresses the buyer's genuine opinion of the transaction, and thus there is no ball to get rolling.

There are far more reasons to be able to get a feedback removed, it is just that the OP's reason does not apply. Just because a seller doesn't like it does not make it removable.

👆This is a good response and hopefully you will be better prepared next time. It always is a good idea to stay on top of eBay polices (selling) including the MBG (Money Back Guarantee) to know how buyers are protected. Also, if you find yourself in a situation where you need some quick advice/critique, posting on these boards tends to help those looking to do the right thing for the customer and their account. Just be prepared for some honest opinions sprinkled with some sarcasm.
@nobody*s_perfect has posted the feedback link that is important to read.
Good luck and don't be too upset over the 1 negative feedback.

Not sure if this will help you in your situation but I've had negative feedback removed before, however it took the assistance of the buyer. In my case the buyer made the mistake of leaving the negative feedback. I reached out to the buyer and asked for an explanation and there is a process for the buyer to initiate the negative feedback being removed.
In your specific case it seems as though the buyer has made their decision to leave you negative feedback based on their interaction.
You may be able to reach back out to the buyer and beg forgiveness but in all reality 1 negative feedback is not the end of the world. Just maximize your customer service going forward and bury that negative feedback under tons of positive feedback! 😜

No I listed an item for $80 instead of $180 by mistake.

I guess I would rather have 1 negative feedback than have sold an item for a $100 lose by mistake.

Unfortunately, ebay will not remove the negative feedback. From their perspective, the buyer's experience on the platform was not good at all. You have one other option....a longshot, however its an option. Reach out to the buyer and clearly explain the situation and ask them if they are willing to update the feedback. If they agree, then you submit a feedback revisiton request to the buyer & hope they change the rating in a timely manner.
I thing most sellers will agree that you made an honest price mistake in the listing. Unfortunately, most of us would just accept the mistake as a learning experience & not cancel the order. Always double check your listings!!!
Good luck!
