Hello all,
I was wondering if it is possible to block ALL buyers with 0 feedback? I could have sworn in the past there was a little tick box that said "block all buyers with zero feedback" but now I only see "block buyers with negative score feedback".
I know this is a controversial topic - and most people don't care about buyer score....and I was like that too, up until about 3 hours ago. My husband didn't want to accept an offer on TWO items (from same buyer) cuz he had zero feedback --- but I said "why not? everyone starts somewhere" and I accepted both offers. Then he never paid -- ultimately he sent me a msg saying he wanted to cancel cuz he "found them both in his closet".
That kinda did it for me. Soooo, in addition to relisting here on ebay both items, i will have to relist on the other 5 platforms I canceled them on when I accepted his offers.
I'd rather not go through the frustration - and of course my husband says "you shoulda listened to me" . In retrospect, yeah.
Anyway, if there is a way to do it please let me know.......kindly.....cuz I know this is a sore spot for some sellers. Dont hate me lol.
Thanks
Angel B.

And I don't know how there is a 'Negative Score' feedback option - buyers can not receive negatives and haven't been able to since 2008.
Make sure to block ALL who have 2 bid/buy retractions
Believe me, we would all like to see buyers records be a little more transparent than they are, sadly eBay disagree

Why would you really want to block ALL the folks with zero feedback? Somebody with 10,000 feedbacks could have done the same thing. You will be limiting your selling potential here if you were able to do it. But there is no way to do it anyway.

No, you cannot block people with zero feedback. You would be blocking 9,000,000,000 people in the world and it would be counterproductive to you and Ebay.

Nope, not possible nor will it ever be....

I did the 2 bid/buy retraction thing -- and the negative feedback score thing is in the same area as that (i think in seller dashboard). It's still an option to block them.
Thank you for replying 🙂

"Counterproductive" is based on what statistic?
Number of people in the world or the actual number of legitimate buyers. LOL.
In my case it is 50-50, which is $00.00 in the end, at best.

Feedback as a buyer counts too. I have seen negative feedback scores.

If a Seller receives a negative with no FB, the score used to go to a -1
Might have changed, but I do remember seeing one like that - a toasted selling ID.

As noted in the previous replies, you cannot block zero-feedback buyers on the basis of the zero alone. (A buyer with negative feedback is still possible, if he sells on the same account and got a Neg for his sale, but that's extremely rare these days. It is not technically possible to give a Neutral or Neg to a buyer, only a seller.)
The closest you can come is in your Seller Preferences, where you can limit the number of concurrent sales by a buyer with less than (insert number here) feedback comments. You cannot stop them from making the first purchase, but you can limit additional purchases by them before the first sale is completed.
