Is it necessary to have a credit card?

Hi I'm new to eBay and I want to sell my family 's traditional products. Is it necessary to have a credit card to be a seller on eBay?

I believe you just have to have a bank account you can tie to however you are accepting payments.

Debit or credit card will work. You will also need a paypal account.

I do not have a single credit card. My Paypal account is tied to my bank account as a backup source of funding in case Paypal runs low. Now debit or credit card is necessary.

You need to  have a PayPal debit  card to receive buyer payments and it is suggested you have it linked to your checking account

You do not need a paypal debit card to receive payments, you just need a paypal account.

I have never had a debit card in my life,I certainly do not have one with paypal

All of my ebay fees are sent right to my card and paid from there once a month.If you buy a lot it helps to have a credit card,I buy stuff at least 3 times a month and am always checking out,if you have a card on file with ebay it is simple to use managed payments to buy stuff.I use the card so much when buying that I have often checked out as a guest,it took me years to realize why I was not ever getting my receipts from paypal when I used a card

when paying with a card at checkout you need to sign into paypal right then and there in order to not check out as a guest,it is easy to overlook when all you are doing is making a few clicks
