I understand eBay has discontinued its Adult Only section. But sales of items--such as autographed Playboy cards, autographed Juicy Honey cards, art cards with nudity--are (or are not?) allowed to be listed. This past week eBay removed my listing for an autographed Playboy card, an autographed Juicy Honey card, and a nude art card.
I have spoken to three eBay representatives and each conversation has left me puzzled. They suggest that if I try to relist the items--despite removing edited pictures which covered the nudity--my account might be irrevocably suspended.
So, here is a Top Rated Seller trying, at risk, to try to list these items again. . .why? Because there are multiple live auctions on eBay featuring--many of each of these items.

My advice, do NOT relist the items in question. I see nude ACEO's all the time and while I don't feel they should be here, I just scroll right past them. I'm not sure why eBay has cracked down so hard on 'adult' items, maybe because of the crackdown on child porn or the high profile cases of some politicians, IDK. But to be safe do not try to sell those items here.
I do wonder sometimes what will happen to prints of Nude Descending a Staircase or Botticelli's Venus on the Half Shell. Why ban artistic nudity here when all anyone who has a proclivity for that can just watch the Oscars or the Grammy's. Bare bottoms anyone. Or for gosh sakes, the Olympics! I've never seen so many semi-bare butts in my life. I was embarrassed for them. What has happened to MODESTY?

An update: According to eBay policy the "Non-Sports Cards" autographed Playboy trading cards or similar can be listed:
The autographed Playboy cards I listed this week using these categories were accepted by eBay

How do you know they were accepted? EBay does not monitor them as they are listed.

None of the 5 listings you have show any nudity.

Why come in here for advice when you clearly have no intention of taking any? Good luck. You're going to need it. No need to come back here when you get permanently suspended.

Hmm eBay policy on such is variable. DO NOT RELIST if you desire to sell on eBay.
Just due to some on eBay does not allow you to do so ( others have yet to be reported, or in different zone of enforcement.
Sexual pose can be used to say inappropriate and may have been used in such decision... Just saying.

- Nude art listings that do not contain sexually suggestive poses or sexual acts are allowed, but they must include the item specific attribute Subject: Nudes. They can be listed only in the following categories:
- Art categories
- Collectibles > Paper > Pin Up > Vintage (Pre-1970)
- Collectibles > Postcards > Non-Topographical Postcards
- Collectibles > Photographic Images > Photographs

"Accepted by eBay"? You apparently think that because your listing went through, that it was accepted.
You stated in your original post that listing had already been removed, and you were told that if you relist, your account may be irrevocably suspended. Yet you carried on anyway. You may not realize this, but you are now on eBay's radar.
Also, you seem to be putting your own spin on the policy in order to justify your actions. The types of cards you previously had pulled are not considered nude art, no matter how you try to make it so.
