My category of items is very frequently drop-shipped by no inventory sellers via Amazon.
Will I be breaking eBay policy if I say in the title "NOT shipped from Amazon"?

I wouldn't risk it. The bots might misunderstand.
You could instead say something like "All items stored on location". or whatever similar wording you like.

I would not use the words 'Amazon' anywhere on your listing.
Bots might flag you for advertising outside of eBay, or search manipulation.
Just list your title like you are supposed to and be a bigger person.

Thanks guys. It was a halfway a tongue-in-cheek question. But I admit if you said whole heartedly to go for it I would have.
I have seen sellers listing Amazon Basics brand with Amazon in the title.
How about saying "not drop-shipped"?

Put it in the description, something like, shipped fast from the "USA-use your city name."
ie.
"Shipped fast from Myrtle Creek, Oregon, USA!
Something like that...

Would saying that a item is NOT dropped shipped from Amazon make it more appealing?
I've ordered items before from ebay that were drop shipped to me from Amazon.
I paid the price i agreed to pay.
I got the exact item I ordered.
I go it in a few days.
What's not to like about that?

It's not so much about being a bigger person for me. One of my listings is for 10 sheets of stained glass. A while back I purposely put a lower price that any other 4 x6, 10 sheet listing, gave free shipping, promoted it, and offered best offer. I have 2 watchers, $10 cheaper than the Amazon listings (even though many show 12 pieces in their photo) and I haven't sold any while they're kicking butt.

I guess if you don't mind getting scammed you're in good shape. I personally am losing money, not to mention I hate liars.

Now I have in the title "Made in the USA". Because Amazon ships from some warehouse in the US too

How am I getting scammed?
I paid exactly what I agreed to pay.
I got the exact thing I ordered.
I received it in a timely manner.
The seller never lied to me and said "this item will not be drop shipped from Amazon".
For me it's no big deal but I guess it bothers you, which is fine.

You can't / shouldn't mention Amazon in your title or even in the body of your listing. Just think about this logically. Why would Ebay want you mentioning some other competing site in your listing much less your title. Simply not a good idea at all.
You are assuming that the other sellers do not own their inventory. You have no way of knowing [unless you purchased from all of them] if they are buying their items from another seller on Amazon or if they are having their own inventory shipped from an Amazon FBA center.
Lots of sellers on Ebay also sell on Amazon. And many of those sellers pay Amazon to stock and ship their inventory. There is nothing wrong with that if the sellers are willing to experience the expense that FBA adds to their costs.

They lied by giving their home city and state as the ship from. They also lied because it is against eBay policy to drop ship from another online vendor.
They scammed you because you weren't discerning enough not to see they were doing both of the above.
Sorry. You must have a lot more money than me.

To me it doesn't really matter where the item comes from as long as it is what I ordered and at the price I paid. I seldom find the exact same item cheaper on eBay than what I can get it for directly from Amazon and I can often find it cheaper elsewhere other than Amazon. The few things I buy on eBay these days are generally unique items that I cannot find elsewhere or items the seller has tailored to meet my needs.

You can absolutely say you ship your own inventory, however buyers tend to assume that.
Because other sellers may do it, it doesn't mean you should.
Yes saying you aren't a drop shipper in the description is great. I wouldn't put it in the title.
Drop shipping isn't a dirty word, nor is it always bad and in this case some of those seller may not even be drop shipping at all. Drop shipping can be done right, but it is a lot of work. I did it for years and was very successful at it. So it can be done, but the seller has to find the right vendor and be willing to put in the work.

This can happen on most anything. I sell on a few sites, Amazon is one of them. I sell some of the same stuff as I do here on Ebay, but always for more because Amazon is more expensive to sell on. I have things that fly off the self on Amazon and move extremely slowly on Ebay. Again, Ebay has a lower price.
If you are looking for some formula for this not to happen, I hope you share it if you find it. I have no answer as to why this is true, experience just tells me it is.
