Do people love arts and handcrafts? Some people do.
Is it profitable selling them? Sometimes.

Let's just say that this isn't the best place for them. (We'll see how long this stays up).

That question can't be accurately answered as a generalize question. Depends on the Arts and it depends on the Crafts. It also depends on the TALENTS of the person creating them.
As to profitability, that too will depend on the above answers in part as well as the cost of materials, labor to create the item and other costs of sales in relationship to what the market will bare for a price for the item.

Pretty much nothing I sell would qualify as "daily needs" so I do not believe that "daily needs" is the deciding factor.

You already have another thread, where people have told you, you need to do your own research. And quit calling people "dear".

Coconut shell items can be very profitable, if sold at a high enough price.
