I read the whole article. Might be a good thing if they let the shop owners who have stores on Ebay to put all their stuff up there too and redirect. Not sure though if that is what they have in mind, especially if they are bringing PP there for their processor.
Could be a major distractor from Ebay.

And for free? That sounds almost too good to be true.

This news I believe needs to be discussed sometime here by Ebay because if this is not too good to be true, then I think they are in for some big issues.

How utterly brilliant!

It is also fairly evident that the coronavirus is going to be with us for a long long time. Online sales will continue to be the first choice for acquiring products for many people.

The other thing I thought of was that once they get this started somewhere along the way there absolutely will be a fee. It’s a lure and a fish. LOL.

We're not in control of our money with Paypal - they can pull payments out of our accounts at any time, or put them into the negative. AND they have the 180 day return policy. Don't like eBay's decision? Run to Paypal. Bye bye your money.

"Don't like eBay's decision? Run to Paypal. Bye bye your money".
I definitely will be... I have my own website connected to PayPal. I've also used PayPal for the last 15 years without a single issue... Can you say the same about eBay?

Actually, yes I can. Both very large security breaches that I have been involved in have been with Paypal. Every single charge-back I've had to deal with has been through Paypal.
Sorry - NO payment system is 'your own control over your money.'

If they do something like this for free expect that the site will be even more inundated with stuff and end up being Ebay number 2.
