Irrevocably slammed into "The new eBay labels experience"

They did it to me this morning by removing my ability to use the "Classic" label printing program that ALWAYS worked properly.

I commented on the disastrous "new and improved" program here last year.

Apparently ebay fixed some of the problems but now there's a different problem. My first label printed okay but here's what my 2nd label looked like.

Here's a closer look at this work of art from ebay.

As usual, the only way to fix it is the same as before. After wasting a label trying to use their always somewhat broken program, I had to undertake the extra steps to download the actual label file and print it with my computer based pdf program.

Good job ebay. Always making things better for us sellers. NOT!

Irrevocably slammed into "The new eBay labels experience"

>>Thanks for posting Redirector info and the code. It works perfectly.

You are more than welcome.

I am, however, a cup half empty guy, so have to point out that a problem is that eBay can disable that redirection at any time or kibosh the classic label flow entirely - and I don't doubt they will, even though the new flow is horrid and not ready for production use.

(I gave up long ago on expecting rational behavior from eBay and just try to block all their stupid changes when possible)

>>Now, do you have a tricky way to ditch Seller Hub and revert back to the old Selling Manager page?

I just use
https://my.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyEbayBeta&CurrentPage=MyeBayNextAllSelling
and
https://my.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyEbayBeta&CurrentPage=MyeBayNextSold
perpetually opened in tabs in a Firefox 3.6.24 browser instance, and manage 90% of my eBay selling, buying, searching stuff from there.

Things like these community forums, order details pages, advanced listing form, feedback, PayPal, eBay checkout, and a few other things no longer work in Firefox 3.6.24, so I also have a Firefox 31 instance open at all times and just pop back and forth multitasking during order processing flows, etc.

I work off of huge menus of bookmarked pages, and the Firefox browser bookmarks toolbar - that way I go where I want, not where eBay changes a nav menu to take me.

eBay has made other changes recently that don't work in Firefox 31 (variations editor, note editing on the new My eBay unsold page, and a few other things I can't think of offhand) , so if not already open, I open a Firefox 52 instance to handle those tasks

(those page changes are also what are recently causing so many others problems with mostly blank pages and other fails too I believe - IE11, Edge, etc).

Normally have 6-7 browser windows open - 3 instances of FF3.6.24, a 2 window FF2.0.20, FF31, FF52 as needed, and others - all customized with addons, Stylish, GreaseMonkey, Noscript, Adblock rulesets, site specific user-agent spoofing, and FF internal configurations for particular tasks, so am totally used to subconsciously switching between browsers from years of familiarity and doing so.

Not bothered to try reworking things like Seller Hub menus to navigate (things like changing the Orders page navigation to point at the classic My eBay Sold page linked above). Totally doable with Redirector and/or custom GreaseMonkey JavaScript/Stylish CSS rules (doable but more work), but not worth the effort (especially since it's a moving target.)

If you (or anyone) have any particular/specific things in mind along those lines I'm totally open to suggestions.

Redirector rules are usually pretty easy as long as a simple redirection can be done (I still suck at RegEx, but have gotten a lot better as I use it more these days).

Completely reworking nav structures like those of the Seller Hub pages is a major undertaking. (and there is the problem of GreaseMonkey/TamperMonkey addon issues in newer browsers - browser and addon security changes have made a lot of things not possible any longer, plus I only work in up to FF 52 and the associated addon versions, and syntax has also changed over time.
