I have been collecting and buying silver coins made by USA and Iran for almost 20 years. this per say "Iran embargo " from eBay does not make since at all .eBay does not make an embargo against the government of Iran ,but this is embargo against the people ,collectors buyers and sellers of the merchandise from outside of Iran .what does the coin and bank notes of Iran from 200 years ego being sold outside of Iran buy regular people have to do with political embargo against Iran. eBay by this means ,is just punishing the people that want to buy and sell artifacts made in Iran by the people without any affiliation with any political establishment.

The U.S. has trade embargo on Iran since late 1979 when the shah was over thrown . Also The U.S. has a trade Embargo on Cuba since 1963 ,There was hope that old cold war policy on Cuba would be removed under Obama's new Cuba policy that did start to lift a few things . But got was stopped under The fat uneducated Orange 45 pushing out dated Republican cold war dogma policy on Cuba.

I recently pointed out to eBay that the American Philatelic Society currently lists on their Hipstamp Official APS Store, 648 active listings for Iran, 493 listings for Cuba, 505 listings for Syria.
The American Philatelic Society is certainly aware of listing requirements on embargoed items.
Third party collector stamps and coins do not apply, and were never intended to be included in the embargoed goods policy. Ebay's embargo policy is incorect and a childish solution and trying to convince eBay experts is a waste of time.
Yet they do nothing about sellers who list 10 cent stamps for $50,000.
