Wow, never again as a seller will sell outside USA, takes forever to get paid, and for the buyer to get their goods. This shipment was to Montreal, but a huge dissapointment for payment redtape in between. I don't get it, is it for security reasons? I don't think so, is holding the funds. Buyer pays right on the money, seller get paid weeks after.

My International buyerrs have no more trouble paying me than my domestic buyers.
I doubt the issue, whatever it is has anything at all to do with the buyers location.
Shipments I send to Canada get there is about a week, sometimes 10 days depending on where in Canada it's going to.
What specific "red tape" are you talking about?

I see what YOUR problem is. You specify shipping to the USA but you are not blocking foreign buyers from purchasing.
Then when they go to pay they can't because you didn't specify a shipping charge and you need to send an invoice.
Decide if you want to ship outside the US or not, if not then put your blocks in place, if yes then you need to specify the shipping charges for International destinations.
Do one or the other and your problems will go away, either because you'll have no international buyers (unless they have a US address) or because your International buyers will be able to pay you immediately.
The problems you are having are all of your own making and therefore up to you to take the required action.

I'm curious what red tape you are talking about as well. I am in Canada and haven't had any problems receiving packages from the US or sending them there.

New selllers are subject to a 21 day hold on funds. Ship with tracking, the money should be released within 3 days of delievery. If you hold out until the money is released, it probaby wont be, instead, the buyer claims the item never arrived and you have to refund.

I guess I should have read the title before writing my previous post. By red tape are you just referring to the payment hold? The payment isn't on hold because the buyer is in Canada, it is because you are a new seller. Did you send the item with delivery confirmation and is that number entered on ebay? If so, you should receive your money within 3 days after tracking shows that the item was delivered. If it has been longer than that you can try phoning Paypal.
While you establish your selling track record, funds from buyer payments may be delayed. Generally, holds stay on until 7 days after the estimated delivery date or 3 days after confirmed delivery. If there's a problem or a case after the delivery, another hold will be placed until the case is resolved.
You'll be considered an established seller once:

Why are you listing the same shoe more than once and for $10 more? You have 2 sizes of the black shoes so you should either set up a variation listing so that people pick the size when they make the purchase or have size 7.5 in one listing and size 8 in the other.
