Interesting order total on an order I had recently not sure why

I am printing out some orders I had today and happened to glance at one of them.  When I view the order under order details it shows traditional with about the amount I expect coming to me.  However, on the packaging slip it shows very unusual;

Item subtotal:  $x

Sales tax:

Discount: (standard multi card discount)

eBay discount  - $x  (the entire amount of the order)

Order total $0.00

This transaction should be a standard transaction with just the normal multi card discount.  I have seen no cancellation of sale or contact from the buyer on anything unusual.  The order also shows order details correctly with order earnings.   Anyone have an idea what could be happening on this sale?

Thanks so much

I had two of these this week. I was praying they were gift card purchases.

Re: Interesting order total on an order I had recently not sure why

There have been several threads like this recently. This is probably because the packing ship shows the buyer what they paid for the item, not what the seller received.

The buyer probably used an eBay coupon, and did not have to pay anything from their card, so that's what the packing slip is showing them. The seller received the full amount shown on the seller's order details from eBay, because eBay provided the discount to the buyer.
