Still don't understand why all at once my listings have started being charged .35 cents when they automatically renew? Also, I distinctly remember clicking on the "do not automatically renew" thing, but all at once a bunch of older stuff started renewing, and charging me .35 cents each time. Last week alone, if I am reading it right, I was charged between 2 and 300 dollars for insertion fees! Thinking about getting out all together.

Fixed Price listings (all your listings except one) renew every month, there is no way to turn that off, you can end listings before they renew but that must be done manually.
There is an auto-relist option for Auction listings but that would only apply to new and infrequent sellers and there are no fees involved in that limited option.
Fixed Price listings are referred to as GTC (Good Till Cancelled).
You have over 4000 listings, you should have a Premium Store, that would dramatically reduce your listing fees.

Fixed priced items relist every month, unless you end the listings.
You get a total of 250 free listings a month without a store.
Right now, you have 4100 listings, so you are paying a lot in insertion fees.

Each month you get 250 free insertion fees which can be used for new listings, relists, or when your fixed price listings roll over (on the same date each month as the date they started). As mentioned in another post, you cannot opt out of those fixed price listings renewing. Each month when a fixed price listing rolls over, it will use up one of your free 250 insertions, When those are used up, each rollover will cost you 35 cents.
Here's are policy page that explain eBay fees:

Good grief - open a store! You'll get some breaks doing it, and it will save you loads of money. You'll also get the ability to run sales, and if you do some auctions, that's OK. I think the Basic option would be best - it's really good value.

Wow that is one big insertion fee bill you have to pay every month since you do not have a store.
Ebay gives offers 250 free listings each month for sellers that do not have a store. Right now, as you know, you have 4,100 active listings. 4,100 - 250 = 3,850 X .35 = $1,347.50 in listing fees. That is a HUGE bill that is so avoidable.
You should seriously consider opening a Basic Store. Which gives you 250 free listings each month in any category and 10,000 additional free listings in certain categories, which you post in. So you don't need a higher level store. However a Basic store will SAVE you close to $1,300 a month.
The 10,000 free listings are in the following categories.
You can use your 'select categories' fixed price listings allocation in the following categories:
