What does initiated payment mean exactly?  Paypal said item not paid for yet?

Are you the buyer or seller?some forms of payment must clear(echecks for example)If you are seller do not ship until paypal shows completed payment that states save to ship in your paypal account(do not count on email notices)

Check your e-mail address on paypal and eBay and make sure they are the same.  If there is an error in either address, the payment will not go through.

The words “initiated payment” set off my scam meter. The payment is either made or not. If PayPal says no funds are there, that’s what you go by. Is the buyer texting you or sending emails or messages outside of eBay Messages system? Insist that all communication takes place on the platform. A buyer does not need your phone or PayPal address in order to remit payment. Always check for the payment by going directly to PP. Never click on links in an email or message. Where did the phrase “initiated payment” come from?
