It has become increasingly Impossible to try to operate a business properly on this platform, To properly support a business, you need a certain amount of sales to put back into the business,such as inventory, supplies, & multiple other expenses, & that is not happening here, not anymore, I feel I am being strong armed into increasing PL's & offering free shipping & free returns, & If I do not succumb my sales will forever be suppressed, Not what I signed up for when i started!!

Condition on here is EXTREMELY Questionable to say the least, I am HONEST about condition!,If you have the ebay mentality of give it away & ship it for free, That's entirely up to you, I would much rather sell one item at $30, Than 10 items at $3 & ship for free,A lot of brick & mortar ran themselves right out of Business by trying deep discounts like their competitors!, By The Way Where Are Your Listings???, I click on view your listings & there is nothing there!!??

I used to have 100s of listings as well.  Right now I'm down to 18.  I had a yard sale on Sat. & did better in the first 90 minutes than I have done in all of 2023 so far!  Some stuff sold so cheap just because I know I cannot wait YEARS to sell it all on eBay.  Good luck to you.  🙂

You are definitely missing his point.  The OP's original complaint is dealing with sellers who will sell something for dirt cheap just to get $.  This does not mean the market value of the item is $20.  People are buying them up at $20 because they know the value is much higher.  What they don't understand is they will drive the value down by constantly buying it for $20.   Just like everything else, humans find ways to ruin things through greed or lack of common sense.  Good luck to all.   🙂

You moved up a little. It is now #490. With 1,400 of the same thing, you are doing good. At least you know Ebay is not hiding your stuff. How many others are also promoting? My guess with that much of an overcrowded category 80% of the other sellers are also promoting.

I'm finding it as it should be among the 4/16 listings (early), since then quite a few have been listed through 4/17 and 4/18 (today).

3200+ when searching on "all" rather than category - so many on auction for .99, 1.99 and 2.99 starts.

I totally agree. They can make $18 billion in a quarter but we can't make anything. I am closing my store on April 30th after 21 years of selling on here. They charge fees on shipping charges and taxes they collect which makes their fee total 20% of my sales. Theft. Plain and simple. That is more than my profit margin, which can't be changed or I don't sell from being overpriced. I went from selling $240K a few years to making $80 for my pocket last month. Ebay is greedy just like Etsy, destroying the little guys. I'm out.
